PFI Mill Beater
The PFI mill beater features a high reproducibility and is used in the process of studying the connection between the thrashing degree of pulp and physical properties. It is also known as Lab beater. This machine is fundamentally an experimental beater, which is used widely in the groundwork stage in papermaking.
The Lab Beater is utilized for pounding pulp, and it is used as a defibration unit for moderately processed fibrous objects. It comes with a smooth touch screen control panel for better operation. It has the pneumatic loading and unloading features. Apart from that, it has a digital revolution counter and an energy recorder as well.
It is regarded as high accuracy and most excellent beater for the processing of pulps. It is appropriate for research purpose and the regular check up of a small number of pulps in the laboratory. It has a high rate of reproducibility. You can beat 5 to 40 grams of pulp with a concentration range of 5% to 50%. The total beating time of this lab beater is between 2 to 10 minutes, with a suspension of 450 ml.
Hollander Beater
A Hollander beater is a machine which was developed by the Dutch in the year 1680 for producing paper pulp from the plant fibers containing cellulose. It replaced the stamp mill which people were using for the preparation of pulp. And the reason behind this was, a Hollander beater can produce more amount of pulp in a shorter time frame.
This instrument is used in the homogenous treatment of pulp with a standard condition of producing pulp as per the commercial production. It comes with a motor and a V belt drive. It has MS fabricated tub lines with a ground of stainless steel. The total volume of it is 200 liters, with a capacity of 5 kg bone dry pulp. It comes in different sizes, such as 5 kg capacity, 15 kg, and 50 kg.
